Ah, well the real crime is his choice of urinal, the dialogue doesn’t really matter to me. If I was brown guy, teal guy could tell me he wanted to give me a million dollars and I would still want to punch him in the face for trying to be pee buddies. Beyond that I imagine that the person who watches American Top Gear is the same person that drives an LS swapped Supra.

This is exactly why I have a dream of putting a 20B Mazda rotary with giant turbo into a 68-73 Corvette, and taking it to a Good Guys meet, and see if the good guys stay good. I am not sure I’ll even need to open the hood... the SOUND of the world’s angriest wasp nest and such lightning quick revs may just be enough... (I wonder if they’ll remember that in that timeframe, GM was testing 4-rotor Wankel rotaries in the Aerovette concept...)

The only problem might be frequent fill ups with a fuel filler lid that is blocked by a luggage rack.

One of my old managers preferred American Top Gear. He also lacked originality and personality. About 3 weeks after I buy a Mustang, he sells his FJ and buys a Challenger.

What I’ve come to realize, is that if people start with American TG, they prefer it over the UK. Sadly they will never know just how great TG UK truly is

I think they improved on TGUK by getting rid of the boring SIARPC and focused more on what people love and that is the challenges
